Who are we? What are we about?

We are a bunch of like minded people whose interests vary, but we are all linked by our interest in survivalism and preparedness in all aspects of our lives. We are not the type to have a basement full of baked beans and shotguns, but more along the lines of keeping a sleeping bag in the car and tools to keep it going 'just in case'. We are the type of people who believe the most important tool in survival is the human brain, not endless racks of guns'n'ammo. What makes us pretty unique amongst 'Survivalist' groups is our interests in E&E- Escape and Evasion. No, we are not a bunch of Walter Mittys, but merely have a wish to avoid the crowds of sheep should anything ever go wrong and maintain our personal freedoms to make our own decisions in times of crisis and not have it made for us by our Nannys.

We're a close knit bunch and don't want anyone who is intent on upsetting the apple cart. We joke about and take the piss with each other- but it is just friendly banter. A sense of humour is essential around these parts so please take any 'insults' with a pinch of salt and you'll do fine. We do not tolerate bullies, racists, bigots etc... We don't care about your personal politics as long as you keep it out of our forum. Free speech is something we hold dear, but as someone said with great power comes great responsibility. In other words think twice, write once.
